Let the next number in sequence is x, then sequence would be 7, 2, 0, 7, 8, 4, 3, x.

7 + 2 + 0 + 7 = 16

2 + 0 + 7 + 8 = 17 (16 + 1)

0 + 7 + 8 + 4 = 19 (17 + 2)

7 + 8 + 4 + 3 = 22 (19 + 3)

8 + 4 + 3 + x = 26 (22+ 4)

x = 11

This is a sequence in which the sum of every subsequent 4 numbers is incremented by 1. So, the next number in the sequence would be 11.
