Answer:
Sperm's diagram is represented.
LABELLING:-
A:- acrosome
B:- nucleus
C:- proximal centriole
D:- mitochondria
ROLE OF ACROSOME:-
Acrosome is a bag like structure filled with lytic enzymes called sperm lysins. When the sperm comes in contact with the ovum there is acrosome reaction. This reaction enables the sperm to break through the protective coat of the egg which is zona pellucida or we can say it contains digestive enzyme including hyaluronidase and acrosin which break down the outer membrane of the ovum (zona pellucida), allowing the haploid nucleus in the sperm to join with the haploid nucleus in the ovum.
