Let Peter's money = p
Jack's money = j

According to the question
 \frac{7}{10}\ p= \frac{2}{5}\ j \\ \\p=\frac{10}{7} \times \frac{2}{5}\ j =\frac{4}{7}\ j

total \ money=8250\\p+j=8250\\ \Rightarrow  \frac{4}{7}j+j=8250 \\ \Rightarrow  \frac{4+7}{7}j=8250 \\ \Rightarrow  \frac{11}{7}j=8250 \\ \Rightarrow  j= \frac{7}{11} \times 8250 =5250
p=8250-j\\p=8250-5250\\p=3000

So Jack has Rs. 5250
Peter has Rs. 3000

So Jack has = 5250 - 3000 = Rs. 2250
Jack has Rs. 2250 more than Peter.
