(7/12)^-4×(7/12)^3x=(7/12)^5

(7/12)^-4×3x=(7/12)^5 [(a/b)²-(a/b)⁴=(a/b)^2×4]

Now both the factors are equal so we can take out the powes,

-4×3x=5

3x=5+4

3x=9

x=9/3

x=3
