The number that would come in the place of '?' is 265.

Series → 7,15,32,65,132, 265, 532

Given,

Series → 7,15,32,65,132, ?, 532

To Find,

The number that would come in the place of '?'

Solution,

On looking at the given series carefully, it can be noticed that -

Relation between 7 & 15 → 7 x 2 + 1 = 15

Relation between 15 & 32 → 15 x 2 + 2 = 32

Relation between 32 & 65 → 32 x 2 + 1 = 65

Relation between 65 & 132 → 65 x 2 + 2 = 132

Thus, alternatively, 1 and 2 are added after multiplying the number by 2.

The next term after 132 will be -

132 x 2 + 1 = 264 + 1 = 265

Thus, the required term is 265.
