Answer:

Question

\bf \:Solve :  \:  {( \sqrt{7}  +  \sqrt{2} )}^{2}

Identity used :-

\bf \: {(x + y)}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  + 2xy +  {y}^{2}

Solution :-

\bf \:{( \sqrt{7}  +  \sqrt{2} )}^{2}

Using identity

\bf \: {(x + y)}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  + 2xy +  {y}^{2}

\bf \:Put \: x =  \sqrt{7}  \: and \: y =  \sqrt{2}  \: we \: get

\bf\implies \:{( \sqrt{7}  +  \sqrt{2} )}^{2}  =  { (\sqrt{7} )}^{2}  + 2 \times  \sqrt{7}  \times  \sqrt{2}  +  {( \sqrt{2} )}^{2}

\bf\implies \:{( \sqrt{7}  +  \sqrt{2} )}^{2}  = 7 + 2 \sqrt{14}  + 2

\bf\implies \:{( \sqrt{7}  +  \sqrt{2} )}^{2}  = 9 + 2 \sqrt{14}
