GIVEN:-

  • 7*3/5 - 3*4/2 it's in mixed fraction

TO FIND:-

  • the difference.

SOLUTION:-

First change them to improper fraction.

  • 7*3/5=>7×3+5/5=>26/5

  • 3*4/2=>3×4+2/2=>14/2

  • =>26/5-14/2

Now make the denominators same by finding L.C.M.

L.C.M.=>5×2=>10

  • 52-70/10

  • =>(-18)/10

  • =>(-9)/5

  • =>(-1)*4/5

Hey mate! Your answer is (-1) whole 4 upon 5.

 \\  \\  - 1 \times \frac{4}{5} \\  \\

EXPLANATION:-

  • Hey mate! Your question is in mixed form and it could be solved in mixed way too but in improper it would become easy.

  • So for changing any mixed number to improper we need to multiply the whole number part and the denominator of the proper fraction part and then add the numerator to the product and leave the denominator same as it is.

  • Now as we know that fractions with different denominnators cannot be operated so we will make the d enominators same by finding the I.C.M.

  • After that we multiplied the same number in the numerator which we multipled in the denominator to make it equal to the L.C.M.

  • Now on subtraction it gave (-18) upon 10.

  • Then we converted it in standard form and then to mixed.
