Two different pairs can be (2,2) and (3,3/2).
We have to find numbers which have their sum and product equal.
To find such numbers we provide them with a variable and then formulate an equation.
By forming the equation, we will be able to find a general solution of one number in terms of another.
By the general solution, we will be able to generate an infinite amounts of pairs 2 of which are given above in the answer.
Let one number be x and the other be y.
Then by the equation:-
xy= x+y.
Hence we get
y= x/x-1.
Hence for any valid value of x and y we can generate an infinite amount of such pairs.
