Given,

Volume of the total pineapple juice including water = 450 litres

Percentage of juice in the pineapple juice = 42%

Volume of the total orange juice including water = 630 litres

Percentage of juice in the final juice mixture = 35%

To find,

The volume of the orange juice in the final juice mixture.

Solution,

First we have to calculate the actual amount of pineapple juice, excluding the water.

Pineapple juice = 450 × 42/100 = 189 litres

Total volume of the final juice mixture including water = 630+450 = 1080 litres

Total amount of water in the final juice mixture excluding the water = 1080× 35/100 = 378 litres

So, Orange Juice + Pineapple juice = 378 litres

Orange juice + 189 litres = 378 litres

Orange juice = 378-189 = 189 litres

Hence, there is 189 litres of orange juice in the new drink.
