The given equation are

4x+3y=7 ……(1)

2x+3y=-1 ……(2)

subtracted (2)from (1) we get

4x+3y=7

2x+3y=-1

- - +

2x =8

x=8/2

x=4

putting x=4 in (1) we get

4(4)+3y=7

16+3y=7

3y=7-16

3y=-9

y=-9/3

y=-3

hence x=4 and y=-3
