7(x - 5) + 2(3 - x) = 3(2x - 8) \\  \\  \\  =  > 7x - 35 + 5 - 2x = 6x - 24 \\  \\  \\  =  > 7x - 2x - 6x =  - 24 \\  - 5 + 35 \\  \\  \\  =  > 7x - 8x =  - 29 + 35 \\  \\  =  >  - x = 6 \\  \\  =  > x =  - 6

The value of x is -6
