heya guys
Given Mass of gas = 7.5 g
Volume = 5.6L
At STP = 1 mole of substance occupies 22.4L of volume.
Therefore for the above gas to acquire 22.4 L volume its mass should be 22.4/5.6 x 11 = 44g = molar mass of gas.
Since no element with molar mass 44 exists it may be a hetero-atomic gas most probably CO2.
I hope this help u

NO(Nitrogen Oxide)
Explanation:
Given that,
Mass of Gas = 7.5 g
Volume at stp = 5.8 l
To find,
The gas = ?
Procedure:
Mass in 5.8 litre = 7.5 g
Mass in 22.4 litre at STP = 7.5/5.8 * 22.4
= 28.96
The molecular weight = 29
∵ The formula for molecular weight is NO(Nitrogen oxide).
