question : A 20/π μf of a capacitor is discharged through a 50/π mH an inductor. Calculate the frequency of discharge is

(A) 100 Hz

(B) 200 Hz

(C) 500 Hz

(D) 50 Hz

Given info : A 20/π μF of a capacitor is discharged through a 50/π mH of an inductor.

To find : The frequency of oscillator is...

solution : inductance of the inductor, L = 50/π mH

conductance of the conductor, C = 20/π μC

using formula,

angular frequency of oscillator is given by, ω = 1/√(LC)

= 1/√{50/π × 10¯³ H × 20/π × 10¯⁶}

= 10³π rad/s

we know, angular frequency = 2π × frequency

⇒frequency = ω/2π = (10³π)/2π = 500 Hz

Therefore the frequency of oscillator is 500 Hz.
