Answer:

Total books in bookshop = 12000 books

Books sold in first week

= (15/100)*12000

= 1800

Books sold in second week

= 1800(1 - 15/100)

= 1800(17/20)

= 90*17

= 1530

Number of books left after second week

= 12000 - 1800 - 1530

= 12000 - 3330

= 8670

In the first week it sell

15% of total book of 12000

\mapsto{12000\:×\:\frac{15}{100}}\\

\mapsto{120\:×\:15}

\mapsto{1800}

in second week it sold 15% less books of first week.

\mapsto{1800\:×\:\frac{15}{100}}\\

\mapsto{18\:×\:15}

\mapsto{270}

in the second week it sold

→ 1800 - 270

→ 1530

in two weeks they sold total of 3330 books .
