Answer:

Ans 150 m

Step-by-step explanation:

It has been given that the length of the field is twice the breadth so:-

Breadth=x

Length=2x

Breadth given 25 m

So length of the field will be twice which is - 50 m

Perimeter = 2*(l+b)

=2*(25+50)

=2*75=150 m

Given :

  • the breadth of the field is 25 meters
  • the length is twice its breadth.

To find :

  • the  distance covered by the boy

Solution :

⇒ It is said that the length is twice the breadth. So, we have to multiply it by 2.

Breadth = 25 m

Length = 2 x 25 m

           = 50 m

Now,

⇒ To find how much distance is covered by the boy, we have to calculate the Perimeter.

Perimeter = (2 x l) + (2 x b)

                = (2 x 50) + (2 x 25)

                = 100 + 50

                = 150 m

Therefore, the boy covered a distance of 150 m.
