In 6 days the remaining work will be finished by A.

Step-by-step explanation:

A can do a piece of work in 9 days.

A can do work in 1 day = \frac{1}{9}

B can do same piece of work in 10 days.

B can do same work in 1 day = \frac{1}{10}

C can do same piece of work in 15 day.

C can do same work in 1 day = \frac{1}{15}

B and C together can do the work = \frac{1}{10}+\frac{1}{15}

                                                         = \frac{3+2}{30}

                                                         = \frac{5}{30}

                                                         = \frac{1}{6}

B and C together can finish the work in 6 days. but they left after 2 days.

They completed the part of work = \frac{2}{6}=\frac{1}{3}

A can do whole work in 9 days, but 1/3 of the work has been completed by B and C.

Number of days of work completed = \frac{1}{3}\times 9 = 3 days

Now A can complete the work in = 9 - 3 = 6 days.

In 6 days the remaining work will be finished by A.
