7. A car runs 16 km using 1 litre of petrol. How much distance will it cover using 2 ¾ litres of petrol.

In 1 L of petrol, distance coverd by car = 16 km. therefore, In 11/4 L of petrol, distance covered by car = 16 × 11/4 = 44 km. In 2 whole 3/4 L of petrol, car will cover distance of 44 km
