Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the minor segment = { pi × 90 /360 - sin 45 × cos 45 } × r × r

={ 3.14 ×1/4 - 1÷√2 ×1÷√2 } × 20 × 20

= { 3.14 × 1/4 - 1÷2 } × 400

= 3.14 × 400 ÷ 4 - 400 ÷ 2

= 3.14 × 100 - 200

= 314-200

=114

Area of circle = pi × r × r

= 3.14 × 20 × 20

= 3.14 × 400

= 1256

Area of major segment = area of circle - area of minor segment

= 1256 - 114

= 1142

r=20cm

theta=90°

area of sector= theta/360*pi*r2

=90/360*22/7*20*20

=1/4*22/7*20*20

=2200/7

=314.2cm2

area of triangle=1/2*base*height

=1/2*20*20

(base and height both are r)

=200cm2

area of mirror segment

=314.2-200

=114.2 cm2

major segement =area of circle - 114.2

pi*r2-114.2

=22/7*20*20-114.2

=1142.94cm2

hope it helps to u
