The width of the path is 7 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Outer radius of circular plot R = 105 m

let the inner radius be r

We are given that a path of uniform width all round its inside border with an area of 4466 sq.m

Area of Outer circular Plot =\pi R^2 = \frac{22}{7}(105)^2=34650 m^2

Area of inner circular Plot =\pi r^2

Area of path = Outer area - Inner Area

4466  = 34650-\pi r^2

4466  = 34650-\frac{22}{7}r^2

\frac{22}{7}r^2  = 34650-4466

\frac{22}{7}r^2  =30184

r^2  =30184 \times \frac{7}{22}

r=\sqrt{30184 \times \frac{7}{22}}

r=98

So, width of path = Outer radius - Inner radius = 105 m - 98 m = 7 m

Hence the width of the path is 7 m
