Answer:

The cylindrical tank has a capacity of 6160 cm^3 and its radius is 14cm

Let the depth of the tank be h cm..

so , According to the question....

\begin{gathered}\pi \times {14}^{2} \times h = 6160 \\ or \: \: h = \frac{6160 \times 7}{14 \times 14 \times 22} \\ or \: \: h = 10cm\end{gathered}

π×14

2

×h=6160

orh=

14×14×22

6160×7

orh=10cm

so the depth is 10cm

so the curved surface area is =(2× 22/7 ×14×10)cm^2

=880cm^2

At the rate of rs 3per square meter it will cost...

=(880×3)=2640rs
