To find:-

  • The  probability of  getting a number  lying between 2  and 6.,When a dies is thrown once.

Solution:-

Total Numbers in a die = 6

Total Numbers between 2 & 6 = 3

  • Probability = No of favoured outcomes ÷ Total number of Outcomes

=> 3/6 = 1/2 = 0.5

Hence, There's a probability of 50% or  0.5 of getting the numbers between 2 & 6.
