Explanation:
Man is a bundle of mistakes underneath which is
hidden his
innate perfection. Initially man learns by trial and
error until he reaches the
deep levels in his own being where his grandeur
waits to be retrieved by him. As
long as man is making efforts to reach that depth,
he is prone to making many
errors. It really takes a lot of focus and
perseverance to become perfect. No wonder
then so many errors are done by us all every day.
It is very ironical that each one of us commits
errors;
however our reactions to error are very
disappointing. We expect others to
ignore or forgive our errors, but when someone
commits any error, we raise such
hue and cry, and often react angrily! We must
not forget that 'To err is
human'. As long as there will be man on this
planet, there will be errors. It is
in his nature. He becomes wise only through
experience. Errors are inevitable;
but our reactions to it can be optional. The best
way to handle errors isforbearance or forgiveness. It is a divine quality
that one finds in himself after
long experience.
Forgiveness is the large-hearted perception of
the reality
as well as caring kindness with which one looks
at error. The one, who
forgives, knows the fallible aspect of human
nature. He is not perturbed at the
sight of an error. He knows the error is because
of lack of experience. He also
knows the pain, anguish and embarrassment that
ensue an error will
automatically set the error right.
Jesus epitomized forgiveness while dealing with
those who committed errors. When he was being
crucified, he knew the error of
his persecutors; but he forgave them! What
practice of forgiveness! Let's
also incorporate forgiveness and forbearance in
our conduct too because 'To
forgive is divine!
