Answer:

Manufacturer sell mattresses at profit =20•/•

Profit of manfacrurer. = 20/100 ×1500

=Rs 300

Total price. = 300+1500

= Rs 1800

Manufacturer sells to agent at= Rs 1800

profit of agent. =10•/•

amount of profit. =10/100×1800

=Rs 180

Wholesale price of mattresse = 1500+300+180

=Rs 1900

Agent sells to shopkeeper at = Rs 1900

profit of shopkeeper. =12.5•/•

amount of profit. = 12.5/100×1900

= Rs 237.5

Retail price. =1900+237.5

=Rs 2137.5

Total profit if manufacturer directly sells

at shpkeeper's rate. =300+180+237.5

=Rs 717.5

profit percentage. =717.5/2137.5×100

= 33.3•/•
