hey buddy !! here's your answer...

fish survive in water because they have gills which facilitate respiration underwater, and they don't have lungs. hence can't live on land... whereas lizards don't have gills, they have lungs which are adapted to facilitate respiration only on land

hope it helps !! ❤️✌️

Adaptations which allow fish and lizard to survive in respective habitats:

Adaptations are the habits which have been developed to survive in the environment.

Fish have gills by which they can breathe in the water and also they have fins in their body to swim in the water so fish are adapted for the water from the past million years ago. If we take fish out from the water so it is not possible for them to survive in the other environment as they are adapted to stay in the water.

But lizard is habituated to live in the land so they have lungs to breathe in the air. Lizard do not have any adaptations to live under water.
