7. A manufacturer marks a printer for 12000 and sells it at 15% discount to a wholesaler. The wholesaler gives
10% discount on the Marked Price to a shopkeeper. The shopkeeper sells it at the Marked Price and GST
charged is 12%. If all sales are intra-state, find
the price paid by the wholesaler inclusive of tax.

So price of the object for wholesaler=original price-discount

=12000-5orrcent=12000×15/100

=180000/100

=discount is 1800

=wholesalers price is

=12000-1800

=10200

So wholesalers again sells for 10 percent discount to a shopkeeper so shopkeeper price

=10200×10/100

=102000/100

=discount is 1020

=shopkeeper price=10200-1020

=9180

Again shopkeeper sells at 12pwrcent gst to customer so final price

=9180×12/100

=110160/100

=gst is 1101.6

So final price paid by customer is

=9180+1101.6

= Rupees 10281.6
