Explanation:

given : acceleration (a)= 3.0m/s²

initial velocity (u)= 0

time (t) = 8 sec

distance (s) = ?

therefore, s = ut+1/2at²

s = 0×8+ 1/2×3m/s²×(8)²

s = 0+ 1/2×3m/s²×64

s= 3×32

s= 96m
