A particle P is moving in a circle of radius 'r'
with a uniform speed v. C is the centre of the
circle and AB is a diameter. When passing
through B, the angular velocity of P about A
and C are in the ratio

Let the angular velocity of the particle about centre c = ωc, and at point A on the circumference of circle = ωa

we know that angular velocity about centre of circle =2 times about angular velocity about any point on the circumference.

ωc = 2 ωa

ωa/ωc   =  1/2

hence 2 is correct option.

Hope it helps you
