Perimeter of the square =4a=4×12.5=50cm

Let the breadth of the rectangle =b cm.

Perimeter of the rectangle =2(l+b)=50cm

=>16+b=25

=>b=9 cm

Area of the rectangle =l×b=16×9=144cm2

I hope it will help you.
