Let the height of the reservoir be 15cm

Then the volume of the cuboid.

= width × 20 × (15 × 10^-2)

= 3 × width

Now, if height is same as 15cm then volume of water removed is equal to the volume of reservoir.

Hence,

3× width = 18KL

=> 3 × width = 18 × 10 ^ 3 × 10^-3

=> width = 6 m
