Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A room is 10 m× 8 m wide.

One packing case requires 20 cm × 40 cm of space.

To Find:-

The number of cases that can be exactly fitted on the floor.

Find:-

Area of Room = 10m × 8m

=) Area = 80 m²

Now,

e Area for 1 packing Case = 20cm × 40cm

=) Area = 800 cm²

Converting cm² into m².

=) Area = 800/10000 m²

=) Area = 0.08 m²

Let "x" be the Number of cases that can be exactly fitted on the floor.

=) (x) × Area of 1 Case = Area of Room

=) (x) × 0.08 = 80

=) x = 80/0.08

=) x = 1000

Hence,

1000 cases can be exactly fitted on the floor.
