7. A rope is tied atop a pole which is 35 ft above the
ground. The other end of the rope is tied to the
ground which is 12 ft away from the foot of the
pole. Find the distance between the top of the pole
and the point where the rope is tied to the ground.​

height at which 2nd rope is tied from the foot is 12ft

so distance between the 1st rope and 2nd rope = 35 - 12 = 23 ft

therefore the distance between two rope is 23ft
