7 A shell of mass 3 kg is dropped from some height. After falling freely for 2 seconds, it explodes
into two fragments of masses 2 kg and I kg. Kinetic energy provided by the explosion is 300J.
Calculate velocities of the fragments. (Take go= 10 m/s²)

Answer:

v= u + gt

Initial velocity u=0,

So now get final velocity

Now kinetic energy =1/2 Mv²

Now you get mass

Applying Law of Conservation of Linear Momentum,

Mv = m1v1 + m2v2
