Given:-
Shopkeeper buys 5 fans for: Rs 4050
Transportation cost : Rs 50
∴ Cost price =Rs 4050+Rs 60
=Rs 4100
Gain (%)=15%
∴ Formula:- gain (%)=
cost price
100×[selling price(S.P)–cost price(S.P)]
15=
4100
100×[S.P−4100]
S.P=41×15+4100
S.P=615+4100
S.P=Rs 4715
Ans. Selling price of 5 fans =Rs 4715
Thus selling price of 1 fan = 5
Rs 4715
=Rs 943/−
