7. A solid cube of copper having a side length 12 cm is melted to form a cylindrical wire of diameter 1 cm. What will be the length of wire?​

Since, the solid is a cubical shape, it's volume

 =  {12}^{3}  =  {1728cm}^{3}

Now, volume of the cylindrical wire

 = \pi  {r}^{2} h  \\  = \pi  \times  \ \frac{1} {2}^{2} \:  \times h

Since, the solid is melted to form the fire,

\pi \frac{1} {2}^{2} \:  \times h = 1728
