Percentage of Copper = 82.5%

Total Parts of Alloy = 7+33 => 40

% of Zinc = \sf{\dfrac{7}{40}\times 100 = \dfrac{7}{2}\times5=17.5\%}\\

% of Copper = \sf{\dfrac{33}{40}\times100=\dfrac{33}{2}\times5=82.5\%}\\

Therefore, the total percent adds up to 100%.

So,

% of Zinc = 17.5%

% of Copper = 82.5%
