Given :

Angles of a triangle are in the ratio of 2:4:3.

 \\

To find :

We've to find the smallest angle in it.

 \\

Solution :

Let the unknown constant be x.

Also, let the angles be :

  • 2x

  • 4x

  • 3x

Here, by angle sum property of triangle :

\implies 2x+4x+3x=180\degree

\implies 9x=180\degree

\implies x= \dfrac{180}{9}

\therefore \: x=20\degree

So, the angles are :

  • 2x=40\degree

  • 4x=80\degree

  • 3x=60\degree

By this, we can conclude that, 40° i.e., Option(ii) is the smallest angle in the triangle.
