So,

5p + 4t = 1350 .........(2)

Now,

Multiply (1) by 4 also (2) by 3,

28p + 12t = 4440 ……...… (3)

15p + 12t = 4050 ….…...…(4)

Subtract (4) from (3),

13p = 390

p = 390/13

p = 30

Putting value of p in (1), we get

7p + 3t = 1110

7 × 30 + 3t = 1110

210 + 3t = 1110

3t = 1110 - 210

3t = 900

t = 900/3

t = 300
