Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • B is 200% efficient than A.
  • B 50% efficient than C.
  • All of them work together for 2 days to complete
  • the work.

Tᴏ Fɪɴᴅ :-

  • in how many days A alone can complete the work ?

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Given That, B is 200% efficient than A. .

So, we can conclude That :- B is Two Times Efficient than A.

or,

→ A : B = 1 : 2

Also, we have given That, B 50% efficient than C.

So,

→ B : C = 2 : 4

Hence,

A : B : C = 1 : 2 : 4 (Efficiency Ratio) .

Therefore,

(A + B + C) per day work = 4 + 2 + 1 = 7 units.

→ work complete in 2 Days = 7 * 2 = 14 units = Total work.

Now,

Whole work complete by A alone = (Total work) / (Efficiency of A) = 14/1 = 14 Days . (Ans.)

Hence, A alone can complete the work in 14 Days.
