1. The poet, in "Fire-Hymn" by Keki N. Daruwalla, sees the burning pyre after a dead body has been cremated in the morning at the ghat when he was walking by with his father.
2. The lady, in Walter De La Mare's "An Epitaph", was the most beautiful of all women of the West Country. Her beauty was rare, and the poet has never seen such a true creativity of beauty other than this lady.
3. Macvity, the mystery cat is a super mischievous and criminal minded cat whose whereabouts are undetectable and unknown. The cat vanishes after commiting a crime, baffling Scotland Yard and Flying Squad. This is why the poet calls Macavity a mysterious cat.
