By diving the figure,

• The length of the rectangle=30 cm

The breadth of the rectangle=20 cm

The area of the rectangle=length X breadth. =30 X 20

=600 cm²

• The base of the triangle=45-20 cm

=25cm

The height of the triangle=30cm

The area of the triangle =½ X 25 X 30

=375cm²

Total area = area of rectangle+are of triangle

=600 + 375

=975 cm²
