angle AbC is 90 therefore by Pythagoras theorem

Ac²=AB²+BC²

AC²=15²+ 8²

AC²=225+64= 289

therefore AC²= 17

AREA af a triangle.= 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × AB × AC

= 15×4

= 60
