4.8m = 480cm; 7.258m = 725.8 cm. In this sum we have to use simple linear equation. Let the centimeter of ribbon Cindy gave as x. So 480.00+ x = 725.80; x = 245.80 cm . Thefore x = 245.80 cm . Nearest whole number of 245.80 cm is 246 cm. Thefore 246 m (approximately) is the answer.
