Dear Diary,
It was an unforgettable day in my life. I fulfilled my wish to see the river far beyond the mountains. I got this chance only because there was no one in home. Though the journey exhausted me, I enjoyed it a lot. I saw lot of big trees, flowers & birds on the way. I met a woodcutter, a village boy & a girl on the way to river. I slipped & stumbled many times.The silence of the forest frightened me sometimes.I was so happy to hear the trickling sound of water. I ran to the river & enjoyed the refreshing water. I could not believe that at last I reached the river about which I had only heard. It will be a day I will always cherish in my memory.
