7 cm, 24 cm, 25 cm : The lengths of three segments are given for constructing a triangle. Say whether a triangle with these sides can be drawn. Give the reason for your answer.

Yes triangle can be formed because 24 + 7 = 31 as it is bigger than the third side which is 25.

Let a , b and c are three sides

a = 7 cm , b = 24 cm , c = 25 cm

i ) a + b = 7 + 24 = 31 > c

ii ) b + c = 24 + 25 = 49 > a

iii ) c + a = 25 + 7 = 32 > b

Therefore ,

a , b and c form a triangle.
