Answer:

8) -8y and -3y

= (-8 -3) y

= (8+3) y

= -11y

10)

A = 3a × 1y - 1/4

B = 15 < a/7

7 ) Steps:

Construct a perpendicular line

Place compass on intersection point

Adjust compass width to reach start point

Draw an arc that intersects perpendicular line

Place ruler on start point and where arc intersects perpendicular line

Draw 45 Degree Line

( see attached image )

8) -11y ( -8y-3y = 8y + 3y = 11 y ) here , 8 y is greater so sign in 11 y will be of - so your final answer is -11y

10 ) a ) 3y-1 = 4

b) 15-a = 7

11 ) C.P = Rs.900

S.P = Rs.972

Now,

Profit = S.P - C.P

= Rs.972 - Rs.900

= Rs.72

Again,

Profit Percent = Profit/C.P × 100%

= 72/900 × 100%

= 8%

Hence, His profit percent is 8%.

12 ) A ) CD TO BE

AND

BC TO ED

B) BA TO DC
