Here I am using A instead of theta.
7cos²A + 3sin²A = 4
4cos²A + 3 ( cos² A + sin² A ) = 4
4cos²A + 3 = 4
4cos²A = 4 - 3
4cos²A = 1
Cos² A = 1/4
CosA = √ 1/4
CosA = 1/2
CosA = cos 60°
Therefore ,
A = 60°
