The leader of the little people ordered them to have several ladders along Gulliver’s sides. The people used the ladders to climb on his body with baskets full of food. He ate two or three baskets mouthful and the people feeding him marveled at his bulk and his appetite. Then Gulliver was thirsty. The people slung up a great hogshead and rolled it towards Gulliver’s hand. He drank from it in one draught. After he finished drinking from the second hogshead, they did not have anymore of the delicious drink to give him.
