=>Typewriter is a machine which is use to write notes, applications, letters, etc.. It is mostly used in courts to write suspension letters or other different kinds of applications. Whereas, Printer is a machine, connected to a computer, use to type any kinds of notes required and even paintings or sketches and even images containing pictures. It is mostly used by common people for the need of printing required notes or pictures.

*Seven differences between a typewriter and a printer are as follows:

  1. A typewriter is a direct machine which types the letters or words as we type in its keyboard but a printer is connected to a computer which prints the required note only when we command print in our computers.
  2. Typewriters are generally used by people appointed to type suspension letters or other kinds of applications by a court whereas, printers are commonly seen in schools, offices, colleges, etc..
  3. Typewriters can only print letters but printers can also print pictures or images.
  4. Typewriters are devices that don't work in a network but printers are connected to computers and the computers maybe are connected to other networks.
  5. In a typewriter you cannot add any formats but in a printer you can use different formats.
  6. A typewriter is a mechanical or electromechanical device whereas printer is a peripheral device.
  7. Typewriters cannot print any kind of bar codes but the printer has the ability to print bar codes very easily.
