The difference between the functions and dysfunctions are given below:
Functions:
- Functional areas are used for serving a purpose of interest.
- Functions are part of the intention and can have a positive effect on the individual or society.
Dysfunctions:
- Dysfunctional has no meaning and serves no purpose. It is unhealthy and abnormal behaviour.
- Dysfunctions are unrecognized with no intentions and have a ‘negative effect’ on a person or the society. They usually disrupt social life with no intentions.
