Homologous organs are defined as the organs which have same structure but different functions whereas Analogous organs are defined as the organs which have same functions but different structure. Explanation:

Homologous organs - Those organs which are same in structure and origin but perform different functions are called homologous organs.

E.g. Forelimbs of frog, lizard and man.

Analogous organs - Those organs which are different in structure and origin but perform similar functions are called analogous organs.

E.g. Wings of insect , bat and birds.

Wings of bird and wings of bat will be placed in the category of Analogous organs because the structure of the wings of birds and bat is different but they both perform same functions that is they both help to fly.
